Hello, world

This is the first post on the new blog. The site was just migrated off GoDaddy’s Website Builder onto Azure Static Web Apps, with DNS in Azure DNS, and the source now lives in a GitHub repo so future changes are versioned and reviewable.

What’s new

• / — the same homepage you’ve always known, just hosted on Azure now.
• /blog/ — this blog, built with Astro from Markdown files. Add a .md file under blog/src/content/posts/ and it ships on push.
• RSS at /blog/rss.xml.

Why Astro?

Static-first, ships zero JS by default, Markdown-native, fast builds, and plays well with the existing static hosting. No database, no plugins to update, no surprise bills.
